About

I live in a 1 bedroom apartment in Brunswick North, Melbourne. The apartment is upstairs, on the first floor, in an older, 1970s block. It is reasonably spacious for a 1 bdrm apartment in Melbourne, with separate kitchen, ensuite bathroom, and balcony in a semi-tree lined street. The apartment is close to Sydney Road and Lygon Street - popular food precincts, with easy access to public transport (3 trams, the train, bus all in walking distance.) There is off-street and on-street parking available. I have a bike you are welcome to use as well.

Pets & farm animals

I have one fluffy black and white cat, she is four years old, medium hair, low maintenance indoor cat. She is rarely vocal, and very self-contained, but loves to play fetch or chase a shoe lace if you have the time. Cuddly, but will also give you space. She has a cat door onto a balcony where she likes to spend a lot of time. Her litter tray, hideaway box, and old cane chair are on the balcony. She has a climbing tree and scratch post inside, an auto feeder for biscuits, and a water fountain.

House Tasks

Water house plants (1x week is enough) and feed our cat. She has an auto feeder which takes care of breakfast, so you would just need to feed her wet food in the evening. It's ok if you skip the occasional day (if you go away overnight) as long as you turn the auto-feeder on for the evening. I have friends in the neighbourhood who can help out now and then if necessary.
