Small modern home in north-west Brisbane. Quiet location backing on to leafy walking trails. The house has modern amenities and appliances including swimming pool and covered patio. We're looking for someone to come and look after our indoor cat, water the garden and look after the pool and generally keep an eye on the place. We are particularly looking for a reliable house-sitter who is willing to look after our young cat Trixie. She is a very low maintenance, lovable kitty who needs someone to feed her and to provide cuddles regularly. She loves to play, but spends most of her time following the sun around the house. The pool needs some easy maintenance and the garden just needs a light water every few days. Features of the house include: - free WiFi internet. - short drive to shops (also walk-able if you don't mind the hills) -kms of walking paths each way from behind the house -quiet and private with a beautiful outlook over the park at the back -modern cooks kitchen with plenty of gear to cook up a storm -heating and cooling -public transport nearby, bus stop 500m, train station 2.5km away. *Our house is set in to a slope and has a number of large steps leading down to the front door - it may be a little tricky if you have low mobility sorry. We have our lovely spare room available for the house-sitter, it gets beautiful sunlight during the day and looks out over the pool. It has a queen bed (converts to corner lounge), wardrobe and drawers and a ceiling fan. Couples are most welcome. Our house is a perfect place for a relaxing time in Brisbane. Pets & farm animals

Trixie is our 4 year old cat, she is very friendly and playful. She needs feeding twice a day, lots of cuddles and some play time. Trixie loves having someone at home to follow around and be nearby but is happy to be left to her own devices during the day. Trixie is strictly an indoor cat and needs her litter tray changed 2-3 times a week.

House Tasks

Pool care - pump on and off daily, brush and leaf scoop every few days. Chemicals will be sorted so very easy. Watering - pots inside and out and a couple of small garden beds, 2-3 times a week weather dependent. General house care, collect mail, place bins out, general cleaning after yourself etc.
