House sitter needed for 6 weeks to look after a 3 bed, 1 bath house in a leafy suburb of Canberra. The house is set up with your own bedroom plus the option for a home office should you need it.
It's a great spot for nature lovers or mountain bikers with the Mt Majura nature reserve and summit track really close by. And a big backyard that attracts a lot of wildlife.
Graduates or students moving to Canberra and needing accommodation are welcome to apply. The owner needs someone to live in the house for the full 6 weeks.
You will have a German Shepherd and a few chooks as your companions. The dog needs a daily walk and loves a game of fetch or tug of war. There are a few house plants that need the occasional watering and a fish tank that only needs a little food every other day.
