Long house sit in sunny Queensland - no pets to look after - COUPLES ONLY - non smokers only - pool maintenance is required. ONLY contact us if you can commit to a house sit of 4 months. We will need to see references/police checks.

Use of guest double room and ensuite. We have TV & Internet. Space for car and caravan on driveway. We cannot accommodate children or your pets. We do not permit your overnight visitors to stay in our home.
We ask for a contribution of AUD$350 to cover your electricity and water. We require a drop off to the Brisbane airport on day of departure and pick up on day of arrival at airport. We ask that you repair/replace breakages.

We are planning a trip to the UK for a few months. Our modern house is located in Newport, near lake and canals, on the Redcliffe Peninsula.

Lovely coastal walks, restaurants and cafes to enjoy in Newport, Scarborough, Redcliffe, Margate and Woody Point. Other areas to explore if you have a car are Sandgate/Shorncliffe and the Sunshine Coast. Local shops in Kippa Ring. Local Train Station where you can catch trains into Brisbane city. 15 minutes by car to North Lakes shopping centre.

Pets & farm animals

House Tasks

There are no pets, just house, garden, pot plants and pool need looking after. Low maintenance garden beds will need watering in dry periods and lawn will need mowing in growing season. Pool cleaning and monitoring required. Pot plants indoor and out must be watered weekly.
