About

We have a unique property located in the seaside location of Moonta Bay, less than 2 hours north of Adelaide. It is a cottage built in 1876 during the mining boom but has had extensive renovations and boasts a large living/dining/kitchen out the back. The property has 3 bedrooms, with a queen bed tucked away in the large lounge area, 2 x king singles downstairs and a double bed in the front cottage, with ensuite and spa. (The little cottage is used for AirBnB but will not be let during this period - so you don't need to worry about this).

We have a female desexed cat called "Ash" who is 18 months old, and is very funny and an "individual". She is an inside cat but has access to our large outdoor patio - so she loves her home.

We are a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive to the main street of Moonta. The modern boat ramp is located in Port Hughes - a 5 minute drive. You can easily walk to the Moonta Bay beach and jetty in around 15 minutes. It's very flat all around the Copper Coast. Bike trails to the beaches or out into the Moonta Mines area, all linked from Port Hughes, Moonta Bay, Moonta, Wallaroo and Kadina - so much to do! Very central to a great lifestyle!

The surrounding townships of Kadina and Wallaroo are a 20min drive to each, boasting large supermarkets of your choice. You have many services including a cinema on the weekends. Cafe's, restaurants, breweries and distilleries all close by along with local doctors and a public hospital in Wallaroo. Heaps of day trips to the Yorke Peninsula or southern Flinders are a must with many small townships and places to explore.

House Tasks

General house tidy, watering garden (checking automatic system), general outside garden sweeping, blower vac. We do not have any lawn to mow. We do have a cleaner every fortnight which we are happy to continue for you.
