About
A 3 bedroom townhouse in Cheltenham, Victoria. One of four, two in front with street frontage and two (ours is on the right) behind.
The townhouse is situated in area that has shops within walking distance, a bus service in the street, close to Southland shopping centre and quite a few dog parks, one within walking distance and others only a short drive.
Downstairs is open plan with two living areas, a dining space and kitchen. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom and a laundry. One bedroom has a queen bed and walk in robe. The other bedroom has a sofa bed and is set up as a study, but could be rearranged if required to be used as a bedroom.
The upstairs master would be unavailable for use.
There is a double garage however our cars will be inside, but there is unrestricted parking in the street. There is a ocal school across the road where the dogs can be walked on leads after school hours and on the weekend.
There is a backyard that runs across the back of the house with a small grassed area, a paved area and a section of artificial grass where the two dog houses are situated.
There is unlimited Wifi and Netflix, central heating and a reverse cycle air conditioning unit in the main living area, a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and gas BBQ.
We have two dogs.
Bella, a ten and a half german shorthaired pointer who loves a cuddle and company. She is getting a bit stiff with age when the weather is colder and we have some joint pain supplements that can be added to her dinner to help with this.
Ziggy is a three year old coolie/collie cross. She belongs to our son who is currently touring around Aus with his partner and we are taking care of Ziggy while they are gone. Ziggy is well trained and attentive to instructions, but loves to run and chase a ball. She can tend to 'herd' smaller dogs at the off lead dog parks but throwing the ball for her is a good distraction.
The two dogs get on very well and are used to being together. They can even sleep together at night in the same kennel.
As we only have a small grassed area we are mindful of cleaning up after the dogs daily. We over compensate by taking them out for a walk first thing in the morning and before crating them at night.
Both dogs are used to two walks a day, one at one of the local dog parks and the other around the local streets.
They love company and we would be looking for someone who is happy to spend time with them
