House Sitter Needed – Newport VIC | 2 Pets | Cosy Townhouse by the Bay

We’re on the lookout for a friendly, reliable house sitter to look after our comfy double-storey townhouse in Newport – just a short walk to the foreshore and a stone’s throw from Williamstown’s cafes, beaches, and walking tracks.

You’ll be looking after our two much-loved pets: Hugo, a playful and affectionate 1.5-year-old whippet, and Luca, our sweet and independent 3-year-old domestic medium hair cat. Hugo’s a bit of a character – full of energy but also a top-notch cuddler. He’s happy with one walk a day and must stay on lead when out and about. He’s crate trained and sleeps in his crate overnight, and during the day he’s fine to stay outside if you’re heading out. Luca’s super low-maintenance – she keeps to herself but loves a pat and a sunny spot to nap in.

The house is cosy, clean and easy to look after, with heating and cooling, fast Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, and off-street parking. Public transport is super handy – buses and trains are nearby, and it’s only about 15 minutes into the city.

Experience with sighthounds is a bonus, but not essential – the most important thing is that you’re caring, reliable, and happy to give Hugo and Luca plenty of love while we’re away.

It’s a great spot for someone who enjoys a quieter pace, coastal walks, and the company of two friendly pets. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
