Looking for someone to keep our 12 month old mixed breed, medium sized dog Dolores company whilst we’re away.

The location: Gateway to the high country & Lake Eildon. Directly across the road from a river reserve and playground.

The yard: 1 acre of treed, grassed and fully fenced yard. Magnificent views through the deciduous trees - perfect for bird and possum watching. We have a large friendly flock of king parrots, an illusive resident wombat, with a mob of kangaroos and the occasional deer passing by. Tree/cubby house, sandpit, swing and trampoline for the kids. Plenty of space to set up a caravan.

The house: Half renovated. Large open plan living, kitchen and dining. Large entertaining room with pool table. Spacious deck for outside dining and relaxing.
Unfortunately we haven’t renovated the bedrooms, bathroom, laundry or toilet yet, so sitters would probably be best to bring their own van to sleep in. However you are welcome to use our facilities if you don’t mind roughing it a bit. They are clean but very tired looking.

Pets & farm animals

Dolores (Dolly) - 12 month old medium sized adorable dog. She loves all people and dogs, especially women & children. She can be left alone throughout the day, but sleeps inside so will need someone home of an evening. We are seeking someone to be her person in our absence. She loves a walk and play, but is just as happy snoozing at your feet. Robbie & Baloony (2 male Guinea pigs) - These guys are super chill and easy. They live inside but like to go outside for some fresh air, sunshine and grass on a nice day. Fed daily and cage cleaned weekly.

House Tasks

Watering of pot plants and indoor plants once fortnightly (probably once or twice during your stay)
