About
Misty needs someone to care for her while I'm away. It's 3 days and 2 nights (From Friday morning/lunchtime 20th to lunchtime to late afternoon Sunday 22nd).
I travel occasionally for a long weekend or week and am looking to develop a relationship with someone who loves cats and who can't have one or chooses not to right now. Because the time frames aren't long, it may not suit someone who needs housesitting for their 'home'.
A relatively quiet single person or couple to mind a shy rehomed Bengal cat (skittish at first, then sweet). Some experience with Bengals would be great. She gets up to crazy antics to burn off energy and then sleeps - usually near me as I work or sleep.
I have a 2 BR apartment in a security block in Neutral Bay near Anderson Park. Close to Kirribilli, and North Sydney. A short ferry ride to Circular Quay. 2 km. to Cremorne Point and a beautiful walk around the Harbour. 5 km from Balmoral Beach. Lovely area.
Comfortable bed in pleasant bedroom with ensuite for whoever minds my home and cat.
The 2nd BR is an office. I have a Sofa Bed in the lounge room for visitors although sparingly please as it stresses the cat out.
Pets & farm animals
I have a 6 year old Silver Bengal desexed female: Misty. She was rehomed to me at the end of June in 2022 She's a sweetheart when she feels comfortable although she can be shy and skittish initially. So, patience and a touch of cat whispering appreciated.

Misty is a solo cat so when she feels comfortable, she'll want to hang out with you.

She's well behaved with occasional zoomies. Playful. Not a great cuddler (Bengals don't usually like to be picked up). She'll firstly sniff to get to know you (at her pace). When she's ready, she can be very affectionate and loves her cheeks being rubbed. She'll flop and show you her belly for a gentle rub on her chest. You do need to watch her tail to know how much she's enjoying it ... or not!

For her happiness and security, whoever takes care of her will need to be here overnight each night.
House Tasks
Feed Misty. Clean her litter tray. Water plants on balcony if it's hot and dry, allowing Misty out for some outside time, think about what's left out on the kitchen bench (she steals food and enjoys watching things fall to the floor), enjoy the property and all the area has to offer (heaps). Parking available if needed.
