It's a low maintenance 2 bedroom house in Hoppers Crossing, Melbourne. Close to 3 shopping centres, and train station in walking distance. More DVD's to watch than you can see in a year and plenty of books to read as well. Spa bath in main bathroom and a heated pool. I am looking for a non smoking female or couple as long as one is female as one of my cats prefers females to males. Tasks include looking after two elderly cats, one, Bessie is 18 and frisky. Zorro will be 17 in Dec, deaf, arthritic and loveable, but not so frisky. Zorro is friendly with everyone, Bessie is shy but responds well to lots of pats. Maintenance of the house only. No yard work as it is of a shorter duration. Grass will be cut before I go. Pool maintenance will only require topping it up if using it. At present my internet is just my mobile phone, but I am considering putting on broadband, so that may be available by the time of the trip.
Other places of interest in the neighbourhood is Werribee mansion, Werribee free range zoo, Werribee beach. Half hour drive to into Melbourne CBD, and no shortage of shopping options.

Pets & farm animals

2 elderly cats. Reasonably healthy although Zorro is deaf and possibly may have dementia as sometimes he gets anxiety if he doesn't see the human and starts meowing loudly, even if he just got of my lap and has walked two steps away with his back turned. Has some age related liver failure. No treatment required. Bessie has age related renal failure but is still pretty healthy and frisky. Zorro has difficulty jumping up on furniture, Bessie doesn't. House Tasks

Maintain the house.in the same condition I leave it in.<br />As I am only away for 3 weeks you won't need to worry about pool maintenance or garden. As mentioned previously, pool water level only needs topping up if being used. Put bins out and collect mail. Pat and pick up and feed the cats (often).<br />Relax, enjoy the DVD's and the books, the local shopping centres or the city of Melbourne which is half an hour away by car, a little longer by train. Werribee mansion and zoo is 20 mins drive away. Werribee beach about 30 mins. Lots of theatres in the city, so no shortage of entertainment.
