Our trip from 29 August to 2 November, 2025.
Five-year-old house Mt Martha, Vic., with pool, internet, streaming services, heating/ac, own bathroom, queen size bedroom with large wardrobe. Pool man calls once a month. Robot lawnmower sometimes needs resetting. Old Mt Martha, quiet area, families and retired residents, easy walking to boardwalk along Balcombe Creek, to Mt Martha Village and beach. 5-minute drive to supermarket. There is space for a caravan. You will need a car. No smoking, please.
We are retired and have 2 dogs. Millie, miniature labradoodle, 7 y0, 10 kg. Tippy, kelpie-whippet, 8 yo, 15 kg. We are at home with them almost full time. They are seldom left alone for more than a couple of hours. Their routine involves a roughly one-hour walk every day and snuggling on the couch to watch tv. They are very affectionate, well-behaved dogs. We also feed wild birds – lorikeets, king parrots, magpies, kookaburras. We don’t think our dogs would cope with another dog or cat.
