Large, elegant, comfortable Victorian house with 2 low maintenance cats that need to be looked after while we are away for a month beginning 26 August.

Two young women live with us, one in the house the other in a cottage in the garden but they are both very busy, studying and/or working.

The house has plenty of room and personal space. We will cover all costs,- heating, electricity, gas, all repairs if necessary. There is large garden but it requires very little attention over the winter months.

We prefer female house sitters who like cats.

Pets & farm animals

Two very ordinary, friendly cats. Sisters (though you wouldn't know it.) Both de-sexed. They don't stray from the gardens around the house. They have trap door exits which we lock off over night.

House Tasks

Feed the cats. Pat the cats. Speak to the cats.<br />Gather the mail. Water the potted plants outside the kitchen. The rest of the garden is auto reticulated. We'll organzie a handly man to make sure it is operating. <br />Notify Jay (relative) who lives a few suburbs away if there are problems. Call the Plumber/Electrician/Handy man, all of them familiar with the house and easy to contact. The house and belongings are insured. While you are in the house your belongings are also insured. <br />It will be easy to contact us over the whole period. <br />Although we will be leaving our car we would rather you didn't us it. There is excellent public transport. One Tram, 2 trains, 2 buses to get you anywhere in Melbourne to get to. There is safe area for a bicycle and good bike tracks into the city.<br />Happy to meet you to discuss the arrangment. It would be helpful to bring a couple of personal references from previous house sits.
