RARE OPPORTUNITY: SEEKING CARETAKER FOR OFF-GRID PARADISE

We’re looking for a grounded, capable, and community-minded individual or couple to join our off-grid property as our next caretaker.

This is more than just a job — it’s an invitation to live in harmony with nature, pristine beaches, rivers, harvest from organic gardens, and contribute to a soulful, earth-aligned way of life.

What’s Included:

Live rent-free in a self-contained 12m Mercedes bus with kitchen + ensuite
(or bring your own van/caravan if preferred)

Full access to our thriving organic garden, orchard, aquaponics and worm farm

Use of a fully equipped furniture workshop with an abundance of recycled timber


Caretaking Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain 3 camp sites

Welcome campers with a smile

Tend to the gardens, aquaponics & worm farm

Feed and open/close the chickens

Maintain the orchard and water systems

Participate in evolving eco property projects


Meet Max – The Visionary Behind the Land
Max was raised on a traditional family farm but chose a different path — walking away from mainstream farming methods to pursue a more regenerative, connected lifestyle. Over the last 35 years, he’s lovingly cultivated his 15-acre dream block, located just 15km from the town of Geraldton, into a nature-based sanctuary for community, creativity, and conscious living.

An artisan of solid timber furniture and rustic architecture, Max’s creative flair runs through every corner of the property — from handcrafted cabins to recycled timber structures that blend seamlessly with the land.

Now reaching the milestone of 60, Max feels called to spend more time travelling with family, which is why trustworthy, heart-centered caretakers are needed — people who will respect and care for the land as if it were their own.

Max is open-minded, generous with his knowledge, and values fresh ideas and contribution from those who feel inspired to be part of this evolving place.
