I require someone who is able to care for my 10yr. old English Staffie (male). He is very friendly loves other dogs, people and kids. As I am a tradie I take him to work everyday so he is never really left on his own for long periods of time, although he is fond of sleeping ! He requires walking a couple of times a day but not far as he not really an endurance athlete ! He is house trained and sleeps in his own bed. He is very easy to care for. If u go out he enjoys listening to " jazz music and sun baking in the back yard'' !
I live in Cheltenham/Mentone. My home is 2 bedrooms, plus study/office 1 bathroom. New kitchen, centrally heated, reverse cycle air cond. I am located approx. 5 minute drive to Mentone/Parkdale beach. Westfield Southland is also only 5 minutes away. Some of Melbourne's best Golf Courses (Kingston Heath, Victoria, Royal Melbourne are all within 3km. Mentone Shops/Railway Station is a 15 minute walk away. Train to the city takes about 35 minutes. I am planning on going to Cambodia with my son for approx. 10 -12 days . Dates are flexible (until I find a sitter)but need to leave the last few days of November . Please do not apply if you work full time or wish to bring your own pet. Best suited to someone/couple who works from home or retired .

House Tasks

Really just to look after my dog, he is used to being with me all the time as I take him to work everyday . He will need to be walked at least twice a day. General care of my home and water the garden if required. Home is low maintenance. Local shops (Aldi )is 200 metres away.
