About

We’re looking for a sitter who loves dogs as much as we do to care for our two French Bulldogs, Oden (9) and Daisy (8), and our home while we’re away.

Location

We live in a quiet, leafy neighbourhood in Fig Tree Pocket, just 13km from the Brisbane CBD. Supermarkets, restaurants, and buses are close by, with Mt Coot-tha bushwalks, bike tracks, and river walks all within easy reach.

The Home

Recently renovated split-level house (just 3 internal steps)

2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, plus 2 dedicated offices

Spacious lounge and very private backyard

Swimming pool & leafy 950m² block

Air conditioning & ceiling fans

Disney+, Netflix & Prime Video on a 77” TV

Dates
We’ll be away for 35 nights: Monday 24th November – Tuesday 31st December (New Year’s Eve).

Pets & farm animals

Oden and Daisy are affectionate, easy-going Frenchies who love company, cuddles, and short daily walks around the neighbourhood. They sleep indoors in the lounge and are well-behaved.

As French Bulldogs, they sometimes need a little extra care, like wiping their folds, cleaning their eyes, and occasionally using eye drops. Most of the time, they’re happy relaxing in the sun or hanging out by your side.

While they’re happy to say hello to other dogs on walks, Oden and Daisy prefer to be the only pets at home. This sit is only suitable for someone without pets of their own, and for those who dont have plans to have other dogs visiting.

House Tasks

Lawn: Weekly mowing.

Pool: Use the robot cleaner, empty leaves from robot and skimmer box and keep an eye on water levels if we have any major storms.

While the property has irrigation for outside there are several indoor plants that will require some watering.
