About

We are looking for a reliable, cheerful, and caring house sitter to stay in our home and look after our 7-month-old cockatiel Kevin for one week. Our bird is affectionate, enjoys company, singing, dancing and isn't shy, and has a simple routine that mainly involves feeding, fresh water, and some social interaction each day. We’d like someone with previous bird experience who feels comfortable handling and caring for cockatiels or other parrots.

We would like to meet you beforehand so we can show you the daily routine, answer any questions, and make sure you feel confident. Aside from caring for the cockatiel, general house-sitting duties are minimal — just keeping the place and cage tidy and secure.

We're located in Annerley close to the city, shops and many bus routes which go along Ipswich road, so for those looking for a good base to stay during a trip to Brisbane, this would suit you well!

If you are dependable, kind, and enjoy spending time with birds, we’d love to hear from you. Couples welcome. Non-smokers or parties, or other guests.
