We’re looking for a reliable house sitter for our home in Mt Eliza, set on a half-acre block just 300 metres from the beach. From the garden you can enjoy beach views and the sound of the sea, with direct laneway access to both Daveys Bay and Canadian Bay beaches.

The house itself is a spacious 1960s limestone home with plenty of character. It has high ceilings and French windows that overlook the garden, a galley kitchen with dining area, and three bedrooms (two currently childrens bedrooms).

Located in Mt Eliza’s Golden Mile, the property is close to Mt Eliza village cafés and shops, and only a short drive to Peninsula wineries and golf courses. It’s under an hour to Melbourne CBD, but feels like a seaside escape.

You’ll also be keeping company with our two French Bulldogs, Luna & Frankie, who are both 9 years old. They don’t require much — mostly naps, cuddles, and the occasional walk or playtime. Feed them twice a day and you’ll have two of the most loyal and loving friends by your side.

Outside of that, your time is yours to enjoy in one of the Mornington Peninsula’s most beautiful areas, with beaches, wineries, golf courses, and Mt Eliza village all nearby.
