We have a lovely 3-bedroom duplex with open plan living on a canal on Bribie Island at Bongaree.
Our preference is for a fully retired couple/single with NO children or pets. Of course, someone who will care for our home and keep it nice and clean like we would and give lots of care to our fur babies We have plants which would like a drink every few days and as being away for a month the lawn will need a mow, as it's a duplex there is not much grassed areas. It's a great neighbourhood and area to live in with all the amenities/clubs you would need. We have an R.S.L, Bowls & Surf Club for cheap meals. Calm & surf beaches on Bribie, it is a lovely laid-back environment. We have a Woolworths, fruit shops etc and a larger shopping centre at Morayfield approx. 25 Ks away. If you don't know where Bribie is, it's approx. 50ks North from Brisbane city. As we live in a duplex the property has no room to park a caravan or motorhome. We would like to meet our sitter before the cruise, and both feeling comfortable about the sit. You would have to arrive at our place by 10am on the first day for us to run over the details about our babies. And you do not have any visitors on the house sit. As our car will be left in the lock up garage your vehicle will have to be left of in the driveway with no covering.

Pets & farm animals

We have 2 Shih Tzu senior rescue dogs both 12 years old they are called Mork & Mindy. They are lovely little fur babies they are just happy to be around humans. Mindy the cream one and Mork the black & white. As we have not travelled this year 2025, they have become very use to us being home and they get stressed when we are away for any length of time. So, we need someone who has lots of patience to be able to relate to their stress and help them through the time we are away
