We are looking for someone to care for and love our male 5 year old Border Collie, Sodi.
Sodi is used to someone being home for the majority of the day/evening so would ideally suit someone working from home. He can be left for a few hours but we are really looking for someone that will be spending most of their time at home. If going out in the evening for a couple of hours we would generally leave him inside.
Sodi loves attention and cuddles. You will often have him leaning in for a pat/cuddle.
He is fed morning and night and requires a walk each day (min 30mins).
He is very energetic so you need to be used to handling big dogs walking – he can pull hard if he sees another dog/cat/motorbike/truck.
Sodi sleeps inside to avoid him barking at possums during the night.
We have a 5 bedroom Queenslander in Windsor with pool and backyard.
Short walk to a couple of coffee shops and restaurants. Major grocery shops (Coles/Woolworths/Aldi) are also nearby at Lutwyche, Newmarket or Stafford.
Bus and train are close by.
Our cars will be left in the garage so only have street parking available.

House Tasks

Minimal - Garden care is very minimal and only requires watering a few indoor pot plants. We have a watering system set up for the lawn. We have a gardener that will attend the property weekly/fortnightly to mow. The pool doesn’t require maintenance unless you would like to scoop out leaves to go for a swim. Sodi may join you!
