I have a 3 year old German Shepherd named and 11 year old indoor cat.
They are used to having someone home most of the time (but obviously not a requirement for the house sitter) and the dog is walked daily. They can't be left overnight by themselves.
You must be okay to handle a big dog who gets very excited when you first arrive but calms down quickly.
