We are looking for a caring and trustworthy house sitter to look after our home and our friendly hens while we travel overseas between December 10, 2025, and January 20, 2026. Our spacious 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom family home is located in the peaceful, leafy suburb of Torrens (Woden Valley), offering a quiet and relaxing environment. You will stay in a comfortable private room with your own bathroom and toilet, and enjoy the use of a fully equipped kitchen, heaters and fans, fast Wi-Fi, and a peaceful garden and backyard. The home is conveniently located close to local shops, Woolworths, cafés, restaurants, and rapid bus routes, with Mt Taylor walking trails nearby for beautiful nature walks and views. Westfield Woden is just minutes away and the city centre is approximately 11 km from home, giving you the perfect blend of suburban calm and easy access to all Canberra’s amenities and attractions.
