About

We're looking for a house and pet sitter over the Christmas period. We live in a quiet street, in a great location:

- 3km from the town centre
- 1km from the Cairns Botanic Gardens, Tanks Arts Centre, and the Red/Yellow/Blue/Green Arrow rainforest walking tracks.
- 1.5km from Edge Hill restaurant strip
- 8km from the nearest beach
- 500m from Tobruk Memorial Pool
- 18km from Crystal Cascades

The house is two-storey. You'll be staying in a lovely air-conditioned unit on the bottom floor that is usually rented out on Airbnb.

You'll be looking after Chilli. He's 12 years old, very easy going, and likes to spend the majority of his time sleeping. He's a rescue who was badly mistreated by his previous owners so he can be a little hesitant with new people at first but once he warms to people he's all cuddles and companionship. He's fine to be left alone from morning through to late evening.

Note: we don't have a pool - the photo of Chilli in front of a pool was taken while on holiday.

No children 12 years and under sorry. Chilli is a rescue who we suspect has a traumatic history with children so he gets stressed around them.
