Looking for a summer getaway in Brisbane? Our family is seeking a reliable, experienced house and dog sitter to care for our home at Moorooka (8km south of CBD) and our charming two-year-old cavoodle "Beku".

The house is a comfortable, three-bedroom renovated Queenslander with air-conditioning and a swimming pool to keep you cool through the Queensland summer.

There is a breezy back deck, which is a great place for celebrating Christmas or new years. The garden is fully fenced and a good size for doggy to run about in.

Beku is an active and healthy medium-sized mini cavoodle with a gentle temperament. He loves to go for walks in nearby Toohey forest and to play chase with his furry friends at the local dog park.

Neighbourhood highlights:

• Excellent public transport connections - walking distance from Moorooka train station, plenty of bus connections
• A good selection of multicultural restaurants at Moorooka Central
• Good shopping options within a short drive: Rocklea Markets, Woolworths at Moorooka or Tennyson, Coles at Fairfield

House jobs would include:

• Feeding and walking the dog
• mowing the lawn and watering plants
• pool maintenance -an easy once or twice a week job. We'll leave full instructions.
