About

We have a weatherboard house in Coburg, just 5 minutes walk from the Melville Rd tram or a 10 minute walk to Moreland train station. We require a pet lover to look after our cat. We also have one blue tongue lizard who requires feeding and spot cleaning, a tropical fish tank and a pond full of fish outside. We require someone who can do water changes and keep the tank clean. Experience with fish is is preferred if possible. We also have around 80 house plants that need to be kept healthy and alive, we have a watering schedule that you can follow. We also have a number of plants outside in the greenhouse and in the garden, including vegie patches that will need watering and care. . Our house is comfy but not fancy so it's pretty easy going; however, the upkeep of all the living things in it adds complexity. We would LOVE anyone who is very experienced and LOVES cats and fish and plants.

We have split system air-conditioning in two of the bedrooms and the main living area. You would be sleeping in one of the bedrooms with the split system air-conditioning.

Please note, we don't have free to air tv. We have Disney Plus, Netflix, iveiw. And wifi. Our house is just across from Brunswick West, very central with a lot of transport and amenities close by. I look forward to hearing from you!

Pets & farm animals

A lovely young black cat who is chill and pretty calm.

A beautiful blue tongue. Very easy to look after, just spot cleaning and feeding every few days.

A delightful tank of tropical fish who will need feeding every second day and small water changes every day to ensure that the tank stays healthy.

A pond full of fish who need a teensy bit of feeding and pond filling. They are really easy.

House Tasks

Feed and cuddle the cat.
Feed the fish and do water changes.

Water and attend to the house plants.
Feed the fish outside and fill the pond when it starts to get a bit low - especially after hot days.
Change the reptile tank, feed the reptile, love the reptile, check the temp etc.
Water changes, feeding and tank cleaning for the fish
Water the garden & take care of the outdoor plants and pots
Water the indoor plants
Keep the house tidy and clean it before we return.
