Hi There

We are looking to find a home, cat & bearded dragon sitter from 27th Dec 2025 to 7th Jan 2026, while we travel interstate to see family.

We live in a lovely estate (4br, brick & tile home, with established gardens) near all amenities, with parks and plenty of trails to explore.

Woolworths, Coles, Mernda train station, & a variety of other shops are nearby, along with a larger Westfields only a short drive away.

We have a nice flat yard and gardens that would benefit from daily watering over this period (in the heat).

Overall, this would be a very low maintenance sit. Prefer a person/couple that would be based at home (i.e. a retiree/s or someone studying/WFH etc), and a female, if a solo sitter.

Police check (& references) is a must, being a police/military family ourselves.

Must GENUINELY love the company of pets, very clean and tidy, a non-smoker, and of course respectful and trustworthy.

* Initial dates: 27/12/25 - 07/01/26

* Additional period: 12/02/26 - 18/02/26 (end date TBC, & would incl. our dog, Kasper, over this second period)

Knowing that our home and pets are well cared for while we're away, will certainly put our minds at ease :)

Pets & farm animals

We will be taking our spoodle (Kasper), so this sit would be just for the care of our new rescue cat (Aura) & our beardie (Spikey).

She is friendly but quite shy. Independent & happy to just roam about. She is in an inside cat only.

Spikey, our beardie, is very calm, friendly, and easy to care for. She will just need some daily food, water, basic cleaning. She virtually takes care of herself.

House Tasks

Pet care, mail collection, and lawn/garden watering.
