Hello house sitters!

We are a friendly family of four who live on two acres of beautiful bushland in the western suburbs of Brisbane. We absolutely love it out here in the green! Our open plan home is surrounded by bush filled with native birds and wildlife, and although we're only 25minutes drive from Indooroopilly shopping centre it feels like we're living in the middle of the wild.

Our house is very private and secure, the yard is fenced and has an automatic gate and there is plenty of room for cars and caravans. The home has three bedrooms as well as a self-contained granny flat. There is a firepit, a trampoline, a hot tub and infinity pool, lots of open living space and gorgeous views.

We are looking for reliable, experienced house sitters who are able to be around for our dogs Willow and Ellie, feed the miniature goat in the morning and evening, top up the chook feed every few days, who can keep the house ticking over while we're on holidays. We do live on steep land so you will need to be sure footed and able to climb hills.

Pets & farm animals

We have a 3yr old Golden Retriever named Willow who just LOVES people, walks and her dinner. We will also have an older Chocolate Labrador, Ellie, staying with us (she is my mum's dog) who doesn't get around much because her sight isn't great, but she loves pats and being around people.

We also a miniature goat, Nikkita, who has grown up since that photo was taken but she is still very cute and super friendly. We also have a number of free range chickens and a tank full of guppies that need occasional attention but are generally pretty low maintenance.
