We have a brand new 4 bedroom detached property in Morningside, an inner south east suburb of Brisbane. The house itself has everything you would expect from a new modern home - large kitchen with butlers pantry quality appliances, ducted aircon throughout, media room etc. It has a spacious dining area which opens to a back deck and a separate office area downstairs also. Guests are welcome to access all the living/working areas and we can ensure that three of the four bedrooms (including master with ensuite) are made available for sleeping. There's one king-size, one queen-size, one single. The property is on a quiet street but only a two minute walk to the train station for access to Southbank and CBD (10-15 mins away respectively).
We are looking for sitters to keep our house secure while enjoying their stay, keep our small garden watered on dry days, and most importantly look after our lynx point Siamese cat (who could be quite anxious around new people initially but then likely to become your best friend once he becomes accustomed to you). We would prefer sitters who are experienced with cats, and who can provide police checks. We're an easy-going small professional family and look forward to hearing from you and answering any questions.

Pets & farm animals

Ziggy is a 9 yrs old Lynx Point Siamese, desexed male and very healthy with up-to-date vaccinations and health checks. He's sometimes anxious around new people but after one or two days becomes very friendly.

House Tasks

Nothing unusual. The small garden may need some watering if it's a dry period but this is not excessive, since we've mostly planted Australian natives. A cleaner comes in once per fortnight, so can help with keeping the house clean. If preferred, we can cancel this service during you stay (for your privacy).
