We live on a 3/4 acre block in the suburbs of Hervey Bay. We are about 5 km from the town centre but have a door to door bus service. We are about 200 mtrs from the beach. There is no work involved other than looking after cats. We have a pool and plenty of lawn area and trees on site. We even have kangaroos who visit us occasionally. There are a few plants on the verandah to water every few days and fish to feed every 2 to 3 days.

The house is large with a double garage and laundry downstairs and living and bedroom area upstairs.

We have 2 cats which we love and want a loving career for them for the duration. They are little trouble as they sleep during the day. They will come in at night for a brush and cuddle. They may sleep on the bed during the night. So please only reply if you are willing to look after the cats.

We would prefer a mature person or couple
They must like cats as they are rescue cats and are like family.
The sitter must live in the house and not in a caravan if they have one otherwise the cats will become disorientated and distressed.

NON Smokers please only

Have own transport or be willing to use bus service.

Prefer that sitter not be working away from home during the day. Working on line at home would be good.

They must like cats as they are rescue cats and are like family.

Sitter would spend a night with us before we leave to orient them to house and cats.

We are flexible with the dates as we realise it is short notice. We would intend to be away 9 weeks.
