We require a sitter to feed and care for our pets whilst we are on holidays - 3 dogs (black lab is an indoor dog and 2 outdoor dogs that are a beagle and bloodhound). We have 3 chilled cats, a lovebird in a cage, ducks in a large pen who spend their day on the dam and 2 easy to care for horses. Feeding usually takes about 20-30 minutes in the morning (7.30ish) followed by a move from their night yard to day paddocks at about 8.30-9am (just a short 20 metres on a lead) and the same again in the late afternoon (about 4.30ish).

Sitter needs to be able to put on halter lead and be comfortable walking horses a very short distance, putting rugs on and off also depending on the weather. This is pretty quick and easy to do and we can show you the day before we depart, how to do it.

Cats need a few feeds during the day and their kitty litter needs a scoop out.

Lovebird needs some seed, clean water and a quick cage clean - all of 5 minutes work.

Our folks live in a second, separate home on the property and can help out a little if required but won't get in your way at all. Our 20 yr old daughter will be in and out the last 2 weeks of August as she is at University but will keep to herself and the house sitters will have the run of the home, including master bedroom with ensuite and will not be bothered.

We would prefer the sitters to arrive the day prior to us leaving (we will stay in the spare room and set you up in the master bedroom) so we can show you the routine which will make things simple for you.

Feeding only takes about 20-30 minutes in the morning (7.30am) and the same again in the late afternoon (about 4.30ish). Cats need a few nibbles during the day and their kitty litter needs a scoop out.

House Tasks

No particular tasks required, really just want someone to ensure the animals are fed, watered and ok in our absence.
