About

House & Location
We are offering a house sit in our recently renovated, traditional Queenslander home, located near the end of a peaceful cul-de-sac. The house is perched opposite a beautiful bush reserve, parkland, creek and bike path, making it a wonderfully quiet and green setting.

Despite the tranquil surroundings, the property is just a few kilometres from the Brisbane CBD and conveniently close to local cafés, shops and public transport, offering the best of both city access and relaxed suburban living.

The home is spread over two levels. Upstairs is the main living area and features a large kitchen and open plan lounge/dining area.

Our Dog – Monty
Monty is our much-loved 12-year-old small dog, a cross between a dachshund and a Maltese terrier. He’s an inside dog with a huge personality and will need some extra TLC while we’re away.

Monty enjoys:
- A daily walk
- Friendly company and companionship
- A calm, caring environment

He’s well-settled, affectionate, and happiest when someone is around to share the house with him.

Garden & General Care
Our sprinkler system will take care of most of the garden while you’re here. There are just a few pot plants that will need the occasional hand-watering.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a reliable, caring house sitter (or couple) who enjoys the company of an older dog and will treat our home with care and respect. This sit would suit someone looking for a peaceful, comfortable base close to the city.
