Our home is located in a rural setting on 50 private acres just 15 minutes out of Toowoomba - where all the regular shops, cafes and entertainment can be found. Withcott is only five minutes away and has a food store, coffee shop, chemist, tavern and doctor.

The house is airconditioned, has a wood fire, a modern kitchen and bathroom and lovely gardens around the fenced house yard. There is a large television and loads of books available to read. The Queen sized guest bed is equipped with a near new very comfortable mattress.

Undercover car parking and NBN are available. We are flexible with the end date if the sitter needs to leave earlier.

Pets & farm animals

Goldfish in external water feature and wild birds - a lovely spot for bird enthusiasts as we regularly see cockatoos, kookaburras, pale headed rosellas, galahs, magpies, rainbow lorikeets and, occasionally, small blue kingfishers. Other than that an array of wildlife is on the 50 acres including sightings of echidnas, wallabies and goannas. There are mowed paths that make for pleasant walking though the bush.

House Tasks

The key things we would appreciate are for the mail to be collected, feeding of the goldfish and wild birds and a weekly check of the pool water level, the birdbath and mowing of the small lawn area as required (20 minutes). Other than that, just leaving the place as you found it and enjoying your stay.
