Hello, my name is Nia and I am looking for someone to look after my dog Poppy for five nights whilst I am away in Sydney. Someone ideally with experience looking after senior dogs.

My apartment is located in Preston, right in the Junction with Preston, closely located to restaurants, bars, shops, Mernda trainline and 86 tram line. It is a two bedroom two storey modern, bright and comfortable apartment.

Poppy is a 17 year old Spoodle. She can't hear or see well and is a little frail, but still loves a hallway run and little bursts of play. Given her age she has a few needs to make sure she stays safe and healthy:
- Medicine, which you can easily hide in her food
- Eye drops daily, she's pretty compliant.
- Daily walks, max of 30mins per walk, ideally one first thing in the am.
- Minimum toileting first thing when she wakes up and second later afternoon/early evening.
- Not allowed to walk down the stairs on her own, she's a fall hazard. I have gates to stop her but also you'll need to carry her up and down at times.

Otherwise, she's just happy to be near you and sleeps a lot.
