Our home is in Illawong and is a comfortable, modern 5 bedroom home with public transport outside the door to either Sutherland or Padstow stations.

The local shops are a 10 minute walk with a Coles and Padstow a 15 minute bus trip with many shops to meet your needs.

We have a cinema room that seats six (more room on the floor!) a pool and spa, a fire pit which is fabulous (photo enclosed), modern bathroom and kitchen and room to get outside, with lots of bush walking tracks and fire trails in the next street.

Pets & farm animals

We need a sitter that is happy to have a fiesty, but very loving Jack Russell, Mavis, and an enthusiastic love bomb, 3 legged Frenchie called Frankie.
They love a walk (we aim for twice a day, which is a bonus!) and Frankie has a stroller/pram (I know... we've become those people!!) because she can't walk endlessly, as Mavis can, given Frankie's ability to overheat and she just gets tired going around on three legs! They love the beach, and it would be awesome if you are brave enough to take them to the beach. Mavis loves to chase the ball (when she feels like it) and Frankie becomes posessed chasing big dogs.

You will have to scoop her up and carry her off the sand.... if you decide to head to Kyeemagh or Kurnell dog beach.

Both animals like company and given the guest bedroom is downstairs, it's likely no one will be upstairs if you are downstairs.

They need feeding morning and night and are pretty self sufficient if you're out during the day. They do love company and love being patted and played with.

We leave the front balcony door open and Mavis considers herself Head of Neighbourhood Watch and Frankie second in charge. They are very happy sitting out there watching the world go by.

House Tasks

No real tasks other than the usual "living" tasks - to keep the place tidy, as you find it, bring in the mail, put the bins out etc.

If you are wanting a place to housesit and have a mini holiday with kids, we have a cinema room, pool and park across the road. There's lots of bush to explore and shops nearby, so you could have quite an activity filled staycation if you wanted one.
