Seeking caring, reliable house sitter for home & beloved senior dog (Buddina, Sunshine Coast)

I am looking for a caring, reliable and trustworthy woman or couple to look after my much-loved senior dog and home while I am away for 3 months (19 May – 19 August).

My home is a light-filled, comfortable duplex unit in Buddina, Queensland (4575), just a short walk to the beach, coastal pathways, cafés, and local amenities.

THE HOME
Light-filled, comfortable duplex unit with fans, heating, and washing machine
Small, easy-care gardens front and back
Street parking or driveway use (garage will be in use for my car)
Covered sunroom with daybed, perfect for reading or relaxing
Private backyard, lovely for quiet outdoor time.

LOCATION – BUDDINA / SUNSHINE COAST
Buddina is a peaceful coastal suburb on the Sunshine Coast, known for its relaxed beachside lifestyle. From the house you can walk to Kawana Beach, Point Cartwright Reserve, Kawana Surf Club, library, tennis courts, and a variety of cafés and takeaway options.

The Sunshine Coast Coastal Pathway is nearby, offering 73 km of walking and cycling paths from Bells Creek to Coolum. Point Cartwright is a beautiful local highlight for ocean views, picnics, BBQs, and watching boats and dolphins.

About an hour north of Brisbane, Buddina is also a great base to explore Noosa, the Glass House Mountains, and Australia Zoo.

Genuine dog lover who will treat Sephie as their own
Reliable and trustworthy, with recent references and a police check

I would appreciate a photo update of Sephie every few days via WhatsApp or Signal
All pet food provided (no special diet or medication)
Emergency contacts and vet details will be provided
Double bed in guest room

I would love to meet beforehand, ideally in person or otherwise via video call.

This sit would ideally suit an older woman or married couple seeking a peaceful Sunshine Coast stay while enjoying the companionship of a sweet senior dog.

Pets & farm animals

You’ll be sharing your stay with Sephie, my gorgeous 10-year-old Jack Russell x Chihuahua. She’s gentle, affectionate, and thrives on a predictable routine — especially her two daily walks, which she absolutely loves.

Sephie prefers to have company during the day. She is a wonderful little companion and very easy to love.

House Tasks

GARDEN AND HOME CARE:

* Regular mowing of the small lawn areas
* General home care and keeping the space clean, tidy, and secure
