About

We have a lovely four bedroom home on the western outskirts of Goondiwindi. It is completely self-contained with all mod cons and a pool and garage. Large garden with pop up system, not onerous to care for. 1 aged female cat, "Tink" who gets along well with people, but would not tolerate other animals.
We live in a wonderful quiet semi-rural area on a large allotment with "invisible" neighbours. Car required to get into town (5kms) to enjoy shopping, restaurants, cinema, bowls, golf, etc.

Pets & farm animals

Our cat Tink is 12+ years old, and very easy to care for. Feed her and she's yours! Very affectionate. She is allowed indoors during the day, but we put her out at night (against current best advice I know) but she becomes very noisy at night trying to get into our bed (forbidden) or rattling on our bedroom door to be let in! Otherwise, very trouble-free. NO unusual dietary requirements.

House Tasks

Lawn may require mowing with our zero-turn Hustler mower if it rains. We have a popup sprinkler system which manages most of the yard--a couple of other manual dripper lines need turning on as required (weather dependent). A few pots to be watered, inside and out.
Normal home care/maintenance. I have prepared a very detailed booklet with information about our property.
