About
We live in a character home in the tree street area of Bunbury, WA. It is a 10-minute walk into the centre of town and an even shorter stroll to the beach. The house faces a reserve, and we have an elevated view from the back verandah. Our main priority is our 13-year-old staffie/mastiff cross who needs moderate daily walks and as much company as you can give her. She is a gentle soul who loves both people and other dogs. Apart from a few pot plants, the large garden pretty much looks after itself.
Pets & farm animals
Our 13-year-old staffie/mastiff cross, Cookie. She generally sleeps inside as she has grown older and has recently taken to sleeping in the bedroom for company. There is a dog bed outside the bedroom door but she will be less anxious, (especially with her 'pack' away), if she can sleep inside. This also prevents the temptation she might otherwise have to chase possums! She is pretty low-maintenance, though benefits from a daily walk through the reserve across the road or to the beach and responds well to company and an occasional pat. She is pretty easy to have around.
House Tasks
*Collect mail
*Put bins out weekly (with your own waste obviously)
*Water a few pot plants (just the ones that don' t get rained on)
*Mow the top lawn once a month... or not - I currently only have a push mower so that is absolutely your choice. I don't bother mowing the verge as the lawn there is pretty sparce.
