My apartment is a ground floor 2 bedroom (plus sunroom), art deco apartment in a building of 4.
It is north east facing and looks out over a park opposite. It’s very close to Waverton train station, and you can hear the trains, but it’s not at all noisy. Waverton is a lovely quiet neighbourhood a 10 min walk to the harbour , Waverton Park, and Balls Head National Park is a 15 min walk. It has a lovely community feel. It is only 3 train stops from the city. The main thing I need from the house sitter is to look after my lovely old tabby Billy, who is a very healthy and independent 20 year old. He's not a lap cat, but he is friendly. He sleeps a lot during the day and needs to be kept in at night. He is very vocal these days as he may be suffering from dementia, but he is physically fit and only needs a litter tray at night.
He needs attention and is used to having someone home most of the time. I have quite a few indoor plants that need watering. I also need someone who will close the outside door every night and take bins out once a week. I would be grateful if the person could also take the green waste bins out once a fortnight. It would suit a mature person.

House Tasks

Please collect mail from postbox once a week, close the front and back door of main building at night, take 2 bins out once a week, Green waste once a fortnight and please water all my indoor plants.
