About

Our house is located in the rural city of Hamilton, western Victoria. The house is comfortable and easy to maintain, with a small garden and a large outdoor deck area, and a well fenced secure backyard. We have 2 cats that need looking after while we go to visit our daughter overseas.
Hamilton is within easy reach of the Grampians National Park so ideal for people who love hiking. The coastal towns of Warrnambool, Pt Fairy and Portland are all within 1-1.5 hrs drive. Hamilton has an excellent hospital and is well supplied with supermarkets.

Pets & farm animals

We have 2 cats, Max and Simba. Max is a 9 years old Russian Blue. He is the sweetest natured, easiest cat to have around. Simba, a 3 year old Ginger and White domestic shorthair is more challenging, as he can be nervous and timid. Both cats are neutered makes that have to be confined indoors from dusk to dawn in line with local council bylaws.

House Tasks

Collect mail, mow lawn (only small area), water indoor plants and keep the house clean and tidy. Harvest and consume whatever is available from the veggie garden and raised beds.
