About

We live in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW right next to Mittagong. We have been in an our house for almost two years and it is our pride and joy. It’s a lovely space to enjoy and hide away from the world but just as good a base to explore the wonderful area the Highlands offers with Sydney, countryside and incredible coastline all within an hour drive. The house is low maintenance and we only require watering of our front and backs gardens and herbs. There is potential for the grass to need attending to but not a certainty during the colder months.
Most importantly we require someone to take care of our precious guy Oban - nearly two year old German Wirehaired Pointer. An absolute lovable doofus, joy and menace all wrapped into one. He is a high energy breed who does require a fair amount of stimulation, however this can be managed well as he does have plenty of down time and thrives in his regular routine.

Pets & farm animals

Oban is fed once in the morning and once in the evening. There will poop pickup necessary every 5th-6th day. He can be difficult to walk and we counter that with off leash runs in enclosed ovals where a chase of the ball for 20 mins can fill his needs for the day. This can all be achieved within our backyard on a smaller scale mixed with treat training to help stimulate his growing, wired mind.
