We have a 5 acre property on tamborine Mountain. The home is a modern 3 bed, 2.5 bathroom home. The property has a 4 bay shed, that will have room to park one car while we are away. We feel the place would best suit a reasonably fit couple or single person, as you will need to be able to manage our chickens, including cleaning out their run each week, there will be a bit of lifting of feed bags or hay bales. The other main task will be watering our gardens. Bonus will be free eggs and any veggies we have growing in the garden. All the mowing is taken care of by our regular mowing contractor, who can help out if you have any questions about the running of the property. We are on tank water, and have a biocycle system so care must be taken with managing your water usage. Other than that it’s all pretty straightforward and you get to enjoy a lovely green and peaceful spot in the cool air of the mountain.
