We live in a comfortable home in a lakeside quiet area of Drouin in Gippsland with our two dogs - a crazy German Shorthair and super chill Cocker Spaniel. My husband is finally(!) retiring so we are hoping to venture overseas for several weeks next February.
We live in a quiet but well serviced Gippsland town with Melbourne’s bustle only an hour away. Some great cafes and restaurants are nearby. We are blessed with a variety of birds - particularly the parrots, a family of butcher birds and magpies that come daily to our garden. I love to cook and the garden is productive so would suit a sitter who enjoys being creative but is also willing to handle the inevitable weeds. Our home is well set up - a bbq and spa on our alfresco and a sauna in the garage! We enjoy a supportive neighbourhood and are active daily visitors with other dog owners to our local off leash park. Our two dogs would welcome another pooch to our home but a cat would not work so well. Hoping for a reliable, active couple to come enjoy our home and our dogs while we are overseas.

Pets & farm animals

Two dogs - a four year old cocker spaniel and a two year old GSP who we take for a run at the off leash park each morning and out around the lake for a walk in the afternoon.
A fish pond of 30 fish fed daily.

House Tasks

Collect mail.
Maintain basic gardening - lawn care and obvious weeding. Help yourself to any veggies, fruit and herbs.
Keep the fish pond topped up with water.
Maintain spa chemicals and water levels - use it as you wish.
