-About Us-
We are a down-to-earth couple who love to travel. We have two young kids (Luca 7 and Alba 4) and a puppy (Monty 6m).

We have had 2 long term sitters previously (3m and 5m) and both were successful.

As a graduation present finishing uni (for the second time!), we decided to take the rare opportunity to experience a white Christmas in Canada before work life takes over.

We also just got a long-awaited puppy after our old dog passed away 2 years ago. She is a medium sized Australian Cobberdog, in training as a future therapy dog.

-About the Property-
Large family home with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, laundry, double lock-up garage, kitchen dining and a large roofed deck with an underground spa and bbq area. There is a separate bedroom downstairs with an ensuite and walk-in robe which is where the sitters will stay. Solar power.

The property is 800sqm on a sloped block. The neighbours are all very friendly and we have a good relationship with them.

*Note* kitchen and guest bedroom is currently being renovated, so pictures are old, will update once ready.

-About the Area-
Wynnum North is a peaceful, quiet suburb located along the bay. It is walking distance to public transport (bus/train), local cafe and the Mangrove Boardwalk Nature Reserve. It is driving distance to the water front where there are a variety of restaurants, cafes, shops, playgrounds/parks and cinema. Wynnum/Manly has a beautiful small town community vibe, people are friendly and look out for each other. It is not far from the Gateway Motorway which makes it easy for getaways to the Gold/Sunshine Coast (1-1.5hr) or to the City (30-45min drive).

-Important to Note-
1. We will not be prioritising any applications for those with pets. As Monty is only a puppy we are unsure whether it will be a good fit with other dogs without us around.
2. There is a decent size area of backyard/footpath to mow and this is mostly sloped land. Will require someone fit and healthy!
3. The end date is currently tentative as we have not yet purchased the return flight home. We will do our best to give significant notice once this is booked with an exact date.

Pets & farm animals

6 month old Monty who is medium-sized Cobberdog
She has a beautiful nature, very friendly, sweet and loves people.
She is well trained with the hopes of being a future therapy dog
She loves a daily walk and there is a nearby nature reserve.

House Tasks

We would love for you to be respectful and treat our house and dog as if it were your own!
- Keep the house clean
- Water the plants
- Mow the grass
- Collect the mail
- Look after Monty
- Be respectful to neighbours
