Large 2 bedroom house + study in NE Melbourne. On public transport route (but not on a main road) and close to shops, parks and recreational facilities. Near entrance to Western Ring Road. Low maintenance, primarily native garden. Pets include a tortoise (who will be hibernating), gorgeous Australian bulldog called Betty (sorry but she does shed) and a tropical aquarium (again, little maintenance required). Main expectations of housesitter/s apart from keeping the house looking "lived in" is to feed and walk Betty (she is a plodder so walking Betty is not a strenuous exercise).

Pets & farm animals

Betty the Australian Bulldog (white) - needs feeding, walking and brushing. Inside dog but sleeps in laundry at night. Tortoise will be hibernating so no care required. Fish tank - automatic feeding. Just remove any fish should any die.

House Tasks

Collect mail. Look after Betty. Cleaner comes in fortnightly. Feed wild, native birds (magpies, lorikeets etc.)
