Jill and I live on a 5 acre bush block with a quirky garden on the NSW Central Coast. Our dog is called Callie. She is an eccentric Blue cattle dog x We also have goldfish and a couple of lazy chickens (will accept food ,may lay an occasional egg)
A sitter will need to be a nutty dog lover (the dog is nutty not you)
It would be best if you have your own car as we are 4 km from shops and 2 km from Sydney Rail
The dates I have nominated are before we leave (I think it would be a good idea to live here with us for a week or so to get familiar with the running of a rural block...water septic etc)
You may need to use the lawn mower occasionally to carve a path to civilization.
You will also need to be able to enjoy cold weather as the house is shaded by the forest in winter.
You have a wood heater in the living room and air conditioning in your bedroom
