We are looking for experienced, non-smoking, cat-loving and cat experienced house sitters to look after our playful 7 year old Cornish Rex girl, who is indoors and/or in her safe enclosure. Rexes can be very active and periods of sleeping are usually interpersed with bursts of intense activity, including leaping onto shoulders and the tops of doors. She can be quite demanding of human attention. It would be good if you could play with her about half an hour a day.

Our quiet house is in the lower blue mountains on the edge of a nature reserve and 10 minutes brisk walk from a charming village with shops, cinema which may have re-opened by then, post office, etc. We have a guest bedroom and bathroom for your use. A 12 minute walk will take you to the train station which gets you into Central in just over an hour. 15 minutes drive from Penrith and about an hour into the CBD. No other duties apart from bringing in the mail, watering the garden from time to time and keeping the house reasonably tidy. We have a major preference for someone who can meet us and our cat face to face beforehand. A car would be useful in case a vet visit is needed.
