We're looking for reliable, mature, animal loving house sitters for our renovated house in West Footscray while we take off on an extended road trip (dates listed are approximate, but we would be looking for one sitter for the entire duration). We have an adorable 12 year old English Staffy who needs lots of love and a 20 minute walk each day. She needs regular medication for a back injury but is otherwise very low maintenance. We would ideally be looking for someone who is home most of the time - we have reliable internet, Netflix, 2 x smart TVs, great heating/air con, security cameras and off street parking. We're ideally looking for housesitters with a green thumb - there is only a small nature strip to mow and a small yard - but the yard is full of flowers that need watering and the occasional weed! The house is only a few kms from the city, close to public transport, shops, Highpoint Shopping Centre and all of the fabulous food and cultural hotspots of the inner west. We're in a quiet street with lovely neighbours and a claw foot bath that is to die for. References and police checks would be a bonus!
