We are looking for someone to take care of our cat and dog in early July for 8 days.
We live in a period 3 bedroom home, in Coburg, which we've been renovating. The bedrooms are spacious and include ceiling fans, portable air cons and heaters. Other features of the house include:
-two brand new spacious bathrooms - one with large bathtub, the other with double shower
-a comfy couch, large tv, lots of board games
-fully stocked kitchen with new dishwasher
-laundry
-two office spaces
-large backyard
We have a large garden with outdoor dining and bbq. It's also very child friendly - includes a climbing gum, slide and a cubby. We also have two bikes, which you are free to borrow.
We live on a friendly street in Coburg. It's a 5 min walk to the train, 8 min walk to the tram, and an easy walk to a few bus stops. Walking distance attractions include Coburg Lake, Merri Creek, Harmony Park, Pentridge Precinct, Sydney Road and Bunnings.
Pets & farm animals
We need someone to take care of our couch potato greyhound and our apprehensive but eventually very snuggly fluffy cat. They are super low maintenance and are usually happy to just spend their day on the couch or a bed.
We need someone to feed them in the morning and evening, change their water bowl daily and give them TLC. You'll also have poop duties. Our cat is an indoor cat but we put her on the harness to have some outside time. Our dog is also mostly inside but he has a doggie door for doing his business.
House Tasks
We also ask that you keep the house clean and tidy and check the mail while we are gone.
You must be reliable, trustworthy, respectful of our belongings, tidy and an animal person! As long as you can clean up after your kids, children are welcome. One dog is welcome, provided they get along with our cat and dog.
