Looking for a couple or single to mind our small hobby farm, in the beautiful Samford valley, just 40 mins Nth West of BNE.We have a lovely Schnauzer dog called Rupert, who is 12 years old, healthy & friendly. He enjoys short walks, car rides & chicken dinners. We have 2 chooks, in a large yard, they like a few scraps & grain.The 4 sheep are pets, don’t require any work, they have plenty of grass, but will enjoy a scratch.The 2 horses are old, quiet & gentle! They require hay & feed once a day. We have automatic water stations for the horses.The garden & orchard are easy care, may need to water pot plants.Our home is a large 2 storey with wrap around verandas, with beautiful views of the valley. The local village is walking distance thru our property or a 2km car ride!
Pets & farm animals
Rupert is a gentle dog, who loves company & regular car rides. He has a special diet, steam chicken/ veges or tuna, pellets or eggs! The horses are quiet, require rugging & feed once a day! Sheep are self care & hens (2) grain & scraps twice a day.
House Tasks
Collect mail, water plants close to the house & pot plants! Have a ride on mower if lawn needs cutting.
