Looking for a house sitter to look after our gorgeous pups, Shadow and Murphy, while my partner and I visit my family in NZ (pending border restrictions). The house is a light and plant-filled two bedroom unit at the back of the property, with a shared stairwell with one other unit. Dishwasher, washing machine and everything else you might need. Located in Brunswick East, walking distance from the supermarket, from numerous gardens and dog parks, the trails along the Merri Creek and lots of great bars and restaurants for when we can go to them again. We have some flexibility in terms of dates, so if you need somewhere to stay for longer (or shorter) then we can make that work, including if you need somewhere for Christmas. One of the bedrooms is currently a study (with a single sofa bed available) and the other has a queen bed. You'll have the use of my car (manual Mazda 2) during your stay.
Pets & farm animals
Murphy is a female Whippet X Border Collie and Shadow is a female Aussie Shepherd, both a year old. This does come with high energy and some puppy behaviour but they are both absolutely gorgeous and will do anything for a treat. They need two walks a day. We take them to the off lead dog park down the road, or along the Merri Creek. Shadow does her own thing, saying hello to everyone, and Murphy is obsessed with the ball being kicked for her.
