My husband and I own a large five bedroom house in Altona North with a front, side and back yard. The house has been recently renovated and has all the normal amenities - laundry facilities, dishwasher, internet access & ample off street parking. The house is across the road from a park and around the corner from a supermarket, shops and takeaway coffees at the Circle.
Normally living in our house is my husband and I, two children, a dog Chip and our 3 cats Claudia, Suki and Bonkers.
We would prefer someone who will be around a reasonable amount in the evening as they do like to have company to cuddle up with on the couch or in bed, and they will probably want to share our king sized bed with you. We are both working from home usually and they are used to having people around most of the day and night, but they tend to keep themselves occupied in the day.
Pets & farm animals
Chip is 3 years old and loves to lounge around the house but his real passion is chasing balls. He is very friendly, great with kids and loves a cuddle. He loves to go everywhere with you, but can get a bit upset if he is tied up somewhere without being able to see you.
Claudia is a 10 year old Burmese x, She has recently lost a front leg (due to an unfortunate stint caught in a rat trap), but is adjusting well to life with three legs, hopping and jumping around the house. She's shy at first but loves a cuddle on her terms. She loves to cuddle on the couch and have her tummy patted.
Suki is Claudia's sister, also a 10 year old Burmese x, She's quite independent, she likes to spend time on her own but will happily chase a ribbon around with you.
Bonkers is a 10 year old domestic short hair, he's a typical boy cat, likes to explore the neighbourhood, He's very loud but sweet and friendly and absolutely loves cuddling.
The cats are indoor/outdoor cats. There is a cat flap that they all use to access outside which we unlock in the morning so they can go outside in the day and then it gets locks once they come in for dinner and they stay inside overnight. They mostly toilet outside but the cats will use litter overnight which we change daily. The cats have dry food for breakfast and throughout the day, and a small amount of wet food for dinner. Chip eats red meat for dinner and has biscuits through the day as well.
